Chris got his start in the financial services industry in 1985 as a retail advisor working at Dean Witter (now known as Morgan Stanley). Being an advisor has given Chris a unique perspective of the benefits and challenges of running a retail business.
Chris joined LPL Financial in 1997 as one of the firm’s first external recruiters, based in Boston, MA. In his 19 year tenure at LPL and as an SVP in their Business Development department, Chris literally worked with thousands of advisors. He helped advisors in their evaluation of Independent Broker/Dealers in general and specifically LPL. He also consulted with advisors on organizational structure related to being their own RIA, joining someone else’s RIA, or using the Corporate RIA.
With Bridgemark Strategies, Chris is able to leverage his vast experiences and knowledge of the industry to help advisors research and evaluate a myriad of different Broker/Dealers or affiliation models. Chris provides advisors an unbiased, independent resource that is not just helping them find the right fit, but also helping them avoid costly mistakes. For those that know Chris, everyone will agree there is no one that cares more or works harder on behalf of the advisors than he does.
Chris earned his BS in Business from Northeastern University in Boston. He splits his home time between Wrentham, MA and Moultonborough, NH on Lake Winnipesaukee. In his spare time, Chris enjoys golf, skiing, hiking, biking, kayaking and family.
