Chris started in the business in fall of 2008, as a result of his timing, he quickly learned the ups and downs of the industry. His first job was working on the sales desk as an internal wholesaler for Nationwide. Chris quickly learned the role and was recognized as a leader within the group. His last year as internal he earned the distinction as being the number one wholesaler. Upon being promoted he spent over five years building lasting relationships with advisors. His interactions with the advisors was always centered around education and awareness. He focused on coaching and introducing advisors to some of the more complex concepts related to retirement income planning. Chris left wholesaling and knew he wanted to continue to work with advisors and continue his coaching and consulting process.
In the beginning of 2018, Chris started recruiting advisors independently. In June of 2018, Chris joined Bridgemark Strategies. While independently recruiting advisors Chris was having success, though he quickly learned that he didn’t want to just be a recruiter and wanted to consult advisors helping them with the process to evaluate changing broker/dealers. Joining Bridgemark Strategies has helped both Chris and the advisors he works with as he is able to help advisors better navigate the complicated decisions of changing firms.
Chris has his B.S. in Marketing, PR, and HR from Franklin University in Columbus, OH. In 2016, Chris moved he and his family to Camas, WA a bedroom community of Portland, OR. In Chris’ spare time, he enjoys snowboarding the volcanoes of the Pacific NW, hiking the Cascades, golfing, and most importantly spending time with his wife Becca, son Oliver, and daughter Avery.
