Richard has been in the financial services industry for 28+ years, starting as a financial advisor trainee in 1991 with Dean Witter Reynolds. He spent 15 years serving in different capacities with Morgan Stanley; including advisor, sales manager and branch manager. Rich transitioned his leadership skills to Wells Fargo, in his 4 years there he was both a complex sales manager and a branch manager. He then joined Ameriprise as a Branch Manager and was a Managing Director for Mass Mutual before starting his own recruiting and consulting company the Landi Group in 2018.
The Landi Group was created as a boutique consulting and recruiting firm for financial advisors. In January 2020, Rich decided to join Bridgemark Strategies. After working with so many advisors in his career, he understood the advantages of both being an independent small business owner as well as aligning with a larger firm to gain the benefits of scale and expertise.
Bridgemark Strategies provides Rich and the advisors he works with the scale and expertise as Bridgemark has researched as many as 200 different firms and has nearly 100 unique solutions for advisors evaluating changing broker-dealers, starting or joining an RIA or selling or merging their business.
Richard holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Miami. His wife Michele and daughter Carly enjoy boating, offshore fishing and snorkeling in the Atlantic Ocean in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. He is a member of First United Methodist church, church mission volunteer, Hope South Florida volunteer and Faith in Action mission.
